Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Garrett Medical Technologies LLC, which operates CompliancePilotAI.io ("we", "us"). By using the website or buying anything from us, you agree to them. If you're using the service for a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirm you're allowed to.
1. What the service is, and what it isn't
CompliancePilotAI.io uses automated rules and AI to screen marketing content, such as websites, social posts, ads, and documents, for language that may raise problems under FDA, FTC, HIPAA, ADA, state medical board, and similar rules. It produces findings, scores, and suggested rewrites, remediation steps, or a recommendation to involve counsel.
- It is not legal advice, and using it doesn't create an attorney-client relationship. Findings marked for escalation should be reviewed by a qualified healthcare attorney.
- It can be wrong in both directions. Automated screening can miss a problem or flag language that's acceptable in context. A clean score doesn't mean your marketing complies with the law.
- You make the decisions. You're responsible for what you publish and for any change you make based on a report.
2. Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so anyone with access to that inbox can access your account. Keep it secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Prices are listed on the pricing page in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and you keep access until then.
- Site coverage. Monthly and Annual cover one practice website, the one confirmed at checkout. Multi-Site plans cover up to the stated number of websites, added by scanning them while signed in. To move your plan to a different website, contact us.
- Promotion codes are subject to the limits stated when they're offered, such as number of uses or duration, and can't be exchanged for cash.
- Price changes to an active subscription take effect only after we've emailed you at least 30 days ahead.
4. Refunds
- One-time audits are non-refundable once the full report has been delivered.
- Subscriptions aren't refunded for partial periods, but you can cancel at any time and won't be charged again.
- If something we delivered doesn't work as described, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right or refund you.
5. Agencies and reports under your brand
If you serve clients, you may present our reports and findings to them under your own business name and logo. When you do:
- Keep the statement that the report is automated screening and not legal advice.
- Don't describe a client's marketing as "certified", "approved", or "guaranteed compliant" on the strength of a report.
- You're responsible for how you present findings and for the advice you give your clients.
- Each website slot on your plan is for a client you actively serve. Rotating slots through more clients than your plan covers isn't permitted.
6. The book
A single copy of The Compliant Practice is licensed for use by one person or one practice. The agency license covers use by your whole team and on your client accounts. Either way, don't resell, publish, or redistribute the PDF. The audit credit code that comes with the book is single-use and can't be exchanged for cash.
7. Preflight fair use
Preflight is sold as unlimited for normal use by a single business. Fair use is 100 checks or drafts per month. If you regularly need more, contact us about a plan that fits.
8. Your content and the websites you scan
- You keep ownership of everything you submit. You give us permission to process it, including with our AI provider, only to provide the service to you.
- Only submit content you have the right to share, and don't submit patient health information. See our Privacy Policy.
- You may scan any publicly available website. Use the results lawfully, and don't use them to harass or misrepresent anyone.
9. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt or overload the service, access accounts or data that aren't yours, copy or scrape our rule library or reports in bulk, or resell access to the service except as allowed for agencies above.
10. Our property
The software, rule library, scoring, and report formats belong to us. Reports we deliver are licensed to you to use in your business and, for agencies, with your clients.
11. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that it will find every issue or that your marketing will comply with any law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for regulatory action, fines, or claims arising from content you publish, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay. Sections 1, 6, 10, and 11 continue after the agreement ends.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, and any dispute will be handled in its courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We'll post any changes here with a new effective date. For significant changes, we'll email account holders at least 30 days before they take effect.
